This is the 4 volume edition of 1862, not loose volumes of the 1836 12 volume edition. Shelved in alcove #1.

Vol I is the work of Bossuet, vol II is Bourdaloue, vol III is Massillon. Text in french. Light shelf and edgewear to boards; all vols have rubbing along edges, along spine, and light wear along hinges. Gilt on top of textblock, front edge is deckled. Spines bowed, but binding strong. Bossuet, Bourdaloue, and Massillon were contemporaneous 17th-century French theologians. Shelved French Language.
