An oft forgotten Los Angeles based mystery writer, she was married to Mal Bissell, a writer of weird tales. She also wrote as Jane Beynon (Cypress Man, 1944), and under her own name produced a historical novel about Mexico, La Chingada; scarce in any condition, let alone with a dust jacket; shelved case 6.
