Berlin: Paul Cassirer, 1920. First Edition. Square octavo, 66 pages. In Very Good minus condition. Rebound in quarter blue cloth with paper boards bearing a black and gold label to the front board, but with a blank spine. Boards show moderate general rubbing and moderate bumping to upper corners; light bumping to lower corners and to head and tail of spine. Text block is age toned with damp staining evident at upper edge throughout. A pencil annotation appears on the front pastedown and an ink ownership inscription appears on the title page. This volume includes five full-page illustrations by George Grosz, as published.

Also included are three original handwritten poems written and signed by Schonlank (not bound in); these poems do not appear in the text of the book. A typed letter signed by Grosz is also included but not bound in. Text of poems (published and hand written) in German; letter from Grosz in English.
