General Collection of Eastern Fine Art, vol. 1, 4, 6, 7
Volumes 1, 4, 6, and 7 only of General Collection of Eastern Fine Art by Tajima Yuichi, published by Shinbi Shoin Publishing Company in 1908 and 1909. Volume 1 contains an introduction to art during the Asuka era (552-710) and the Fujiwara era from Uda Tenno (887) to Konoe Tenno (866-1185), illustrated with a total of 51 plates. Volume 4 includes 46 plates (numbered 155-201) from the Ashikaga era (1392-1573). Volume 6 contains 51 plates (numbered 258-309) from the Tokugawa era (1603-1867). Volume 7 includes 66 plates (numbered 310-376) also from the Tokugawa era. Selected prints are mounted in the volume and trimmed in silk brocade. All volumes except 1 are housed in board cases covered with a coarsely woven fabric. Some prints in black and white, others, in color.

Volume 1: Bound in cloth-covered boards which show some discoloration and minor bumping and rubbing to edges and corners, resulting in minor loss of material. Some age toning and age spots to the pages. One volume has some splitting to the front of the spine. The protective cases are in poor condition, with separated covers and other extensive damage.
