Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1854. First U.S. Edition Thus. 12mo., 128 volumes. In Good plus condition. Half bound in brown leather with marbled paper boards, red band on the spine with gilded lettering and patterns. Page edges have marbled design. Boards have shelf wear and some rubbing and denting to the edges, with minor chipping to edges, and bumping to corners. End papers are marbled. Each volume has a small stamp with the name "C. H. George" on front end papers. Text block has age-toning and minor foxing. Some volumes have folding or denting to the edges of the pages. Volume 3 of "The Poetical Works of Thomas Hood" has an uncut page in the back. Volume 1 of "The Poetical Works of Lord Byron" has pencil writing on one of the first end papers.
