Bound in full red morocco by (Paul or Leon) Gruel, with his stamp on the spine tail, triple gilt rules to boards, paneled spine with gilt rules and gilt lettering, gilt turn-ins and red silk endpapers. All edges gilt. Bound too tightly, with some bowing to boards along with some wear and rubbing, primarily to front hinge, corners, and head of spine. Mild wear to rear hinge, spine, tail, boards. Silk on front free endpaper largely detached with two large vertical tears. Shelved in Case 12.
