Marbled endpapers, bookplate to front pastedowns. Extra-illustrated with hand-painted watercolors and engraved hand-colored plates. Turn-ins with double gilt rules and floral motif in corners with gilt borders on covers and red cross onlay at the center of the board with gilt floral designs. Letter A from a limitation of 26 lettered copies of the Connoisseurs' Edition of the Extra Illustrated Henley Shakespeare.. Extra-illustrated with original pen, ink and watercolors by H.C. Green and others, water-color and gilt illumination in the Art Nouveau style throughout, with both hand-colored and black and white engravings.
