NOTES
Bronze Booklet Number 4.; Ralph Bunche was the first African-American and first person of African descent to win a Nobel Peace Prize, which he did for his late 1940s mediation in Israel in 1950. His first book was 'A World View of Race,' arguing that "race is a social concept which can be and is employed effectively to rouse and rationalize emotions [and] an admirable device for the cultivation of group prejudices."
