Boards show surface marks and scratches to covers of both volumes, and spine labels torn and incomplete. Text blocks discolored with some rough edges, and minor worming to fore edge of Vol. II and back matter of Vol. III. Top right corner of front free end paper torn in Vol. III. Thirteen plates present and intact in Vol. II (plates XVII and XIX loose). Fourteen plates present and intact in Vol. III. Previous owner bookplate on both inside front paste downs: "Doctor John Woolford, Princess Ann, Somerset-County, Anno Domini 1788". MF Consignment.
