Half-bound in contemporary brown calf with marbled paper covered boards. Boards show rubbing and wear to edges and corners, light scuffing overall, and cracking to leather along joint. Text block age-toned and foxed. Evidence of bookplates removed from front pastedown. Includes thirty plates, three of which are folding, and 23 of which include hand-colored elements. Personal book stamp of "R. Batty, M.D." to several pages, with some offsetting. Explanations of plates II, III, and IV in Vol. I, Part 1 bound in as slips.
