Life with Father is a 1939 play by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, adapted from a book of stories Clarence Day. The Broadway production still holds the longest-running non-musical play on Broadway. Lindsay and Crouse are also known for rewriting the book for the Cole Porter's Anything Goes and working on the book for Rodgers and Hammerstein's The Sound of Music.; Hans Jaray was an Austrian actor and playwright.
