Water damage throughout, causing waviness to entirely of both text blocks; beginning of volume 1 with the most damage, with the middle of the title page missing sections, tears along first few leaves, including frontispiece; occasional small leaf stains from pressed leaves; some mold spots, primarily to the first few leaves of volume 1;

26 instances of pencil marginalia, including "The Basque is a peculiar language, having no affinity to the Celtic"; With a variety of alphabets printed, including Latin, Hebrew, Arabic, Ethiopic, Syriac, Samaritan, and Greek.;
