Photograph shows some very minor toning to bottom and side edges, and bears imprint of "Pirie MacDonald / Photographer-Of-Men / New York" in bottom right corner. Matting shows light plus age-toning overall. Ink inscription begins in bottom margin of photograph and continues through matting. "To Jane Perry Clark, / Professor Government in Barnard College, / with the high regard and great good will of / Benjamin N. Cardozo / March, 1935.
