1931. A four-item lot from the iconic Noel Coward. The first piece is a signed 7.75” x 9.5” type 1 publicity still of Noel Coward, with an ink inscription on the image: “For Susan / from / Noel Coward”. In very good condition. Undated, but circa 1955. Slight age-toning and wear to margins. Accompanying the signed photograph is a vintage vinyl LP Noel Coward at Las Vegas. In good condition. Substantial wear to edges of sleeve, torn along top edge and portion of left edge. Moderate age-toning to front and edges. Play quality unknown. Also included are two pieces of sheet music by Noel Coward, including one signed. First: The sheet music for the song “If Love Were All” (famously sung later by Judy Garland) from Coward’s 1929 operette Bitter Sweet. Coward’s signature appears on the front page in slightly faded blue ink. London, 1929. Sheet music (9.5” x 12”), five pages. In very good- condition. There is moderate wear along the perfect bound spine, some creasing to the corners of the back cover sheet, a ¼-inch closed tear and one small chip to the right edge of the front cover sheet, light-age-toning throughout, and a previous owner’s name in ink on the front cover. The second piece of sheet music is for Noel Coward’s song “Someday I’ll Find You”, from 1930’s Private Lives. London, 1931. Sheet music (9.5” x 12”), five pages. In very good condition.
