Early Photograph Of Hemingway

1929. A 3.25” x 5.25” type 1 portrait photo of Hemingway taken in 1929. In good condition. Paint has been applied to a portion of the background by a previous owner, some faint warping appears in the lower half due to application of adhesive to recto, and there is a barely visible crack in the image near the forehead. There are notations in pencil on the recto, two stamps in purple ink, and a newspaper clipping of the photo is affixed as well. Date given in pencil is “12/29/29.”. CX Consignment. shelved case 0.
