Edinburgh and London: A. Fullarton and Co., c. 1848. Octavo, Two Volumes. In Very Good condition. Bound in contemporary three-quarter dark green leather and marbled paper boards. Boards show some shelf wear and soiling, bumping to corners, and light chipping to marbled paper on cover edges. Splitting to leather along joints on both volumes, and mild wear to spines of both. Text block has mild age-toning to pages throughout, and three instances of damage from stored newsprint to Vol. II. All seventy-two hand-colored illustrated plates present, as called for. Both frontispieces present. CX Consignment. Shelved in Case 10.
