Dust jacket shows mild shelf wear and soiling overall, small chips missing at corners of flap folds, several small closed tears to top and bottom edges of front and back cover, light chipping to head and tail of spine, and light age-toning and soiling to jacket overall. Dust jacket in protective mylar cover. Price unclipped: "$2.00". Publisher's blue cloth boards show light bumping and wear to corners and head and tail of spine. Text block shows very light age-toning to edges and to pages throughout interiorly. First published in 1932, and featuring illustrations by illustrator Helen Sewell, the copy on offer here is from the fourth printing in 1937 and features an ink inscription from Hughes.
