Lacking frontispiece; later engraved potrait of Seldon included with this volume but not bound in. Title page with an archival repair to an open tear that has resulted in limited loss of text. A complete modern reproduction of the title page is included with the volume, but not bound in. Small area of insect damage through p. 228 and small areas of discolorations scattered throughout. Archival repairs to final two leaves. One bookplate affixed to front pastedown, and one to front free endpaper.
