Slight damp staining to lower margin of pp. 177-194, 199, 207-end. The fairy queen part 2, Mother Hubberd’s tale, and The shepherd’s calendar each have separate title pages, dated 1678. There are several pagination sequences. Register is continuous to 4K2. Leaf 4K2, the unpaginated leaf after p.258, is an advertisement leaf. Text is continuous despite numerous mispaginations.

One of two states of this printing: this state shows two bars with catchword 'Calen-" on page 258. In this copy, the facing page is a printer's advertisement, which is followed by p. 359, 'Calendarium Pastorale'. (A second state lacks the catchword, has 'Finis' between the bars on p. 258, an advertisement leaf, and then the 'Calendarium'. Some copies of both states have the advertisement positioned at the end of the volume.)
