Label with gilt lettering on spine. Binding with shelf wear, rubbing to edges and corners of boards; joints starting; some leather absent at head and tail of spine; text block slightly age-toned and foxed; scattered annotations in ink. "The summ of a conference on Feb. 21. 1686. between Dr. Clagett, and Father Gooden, about the point of transubstantiation" has separate dated title page and pagination; register is continuous. With two final advertisement leaves. "The second volume", with title "Eleven sermons preach’d upon several occasions", was published in 1693. JR Consignment.
