An ownership inscription marked through on the front free endpaper; several names, including that of Tho[mas] Houlkes written on the title page; an inscription reading "John F.M. Dovaston. Westfelton. Gift of his brilliant friend Joseph Warren. 1827." Some water damage to first signature and first two pages of second signature. Ex-library stamps on front free endpaper, title page, and p. 187; checkout slip pasted to rear free endpaper. Scattered pencil marginalia throughout.
