NOTES
Oppi Untracht (1922-2008) enamelist, educator, writer and photographer. "Tubular" is purported to have been the artist's personal favorite and hung above his desk for years. The consignor is Untracht's great niece, whose mother often visited the artist in Finland, where she saw it over his desk. Untracht gave this piece to the consignor's mother. We have not examined it out of the handsome mid-century frame and what, if anything, is on the verso is unknown. It is not signed or titled on the front.
