Okiie Hashimoto (1899 - 1993) graduated as an art teacher at Tokyo School of Fine Arts in 1924 and worked as a high school assistant principal until his retirement in 1955. After his retirement he devoted all his time on printmaking. His main subjects are gardens, landscapes and figure studies.
