The following describes both volumes: some shelfwear and edgewear, some bumping to head and tail of spine, some rubbing/handling wear to exterior, some rubbing to spine, some dulling of gilt text on spine, previous owner's bookplate affixed to front paste-down, light age-toning, only the faintest touch of foxing to endpapers and only light, sporadic foxing to interior of the two volumes, else the text and interior are remarkably clean.

The bindings are sound in both volumes. A very good set. Text is in French. Texte en francais.
