Limited first edition copy - number 121 of 157. Comes with a letter dated December 31st, 1926, addressed to Louis W. Dommerich from Walter Harden of Houghton Mifflin Company, stating that a copy was secured. Also comes with a catalog (has age toning, edgewear) published by the American Art Association of the items to be sold at The Richard Curle Conrad Collection auction on April 28, 1927. Entry No. 207 is a citation of a different limited edition copy (#53) of Inventi Portam. Entry reads as folows:
"Inventi Portam Joseph Conrad. By R. B. Cunninghame Graham. 12mo, original wrappers, uncut. Cleveland: The Rowfant Club, 1924."
First edition. Limited to 157 copies, of which this is, No. 53. Joseph Conrad died August 3, 1924 and this tribute appeared in the August 16th issue of The Saturday Review.
