Wear along stress lines; rear book flap has separated completely from jacket rear, but is present and protected in Brodart. Dampstain has darkened jacket rear. Text block near spine head continues dampstain with no discernible bleed-through to interior of book beyond subtle browning to gutter of hinges at rear endpapers, which are starting, and at next-to-last pages. Similarly, faint dampstain near bottom of deckled text block fore-edge seeps only to ffep, half-title page and list of author's previous works; front hinges also starting. Mild foxing to a few interior pages; volume otherwise clean and tight throughout. Case #8.
