VG-/ -no DJ. solid evergreen clothbound spine and embossed borders on panelboards.tear to spine end sides, roughened cloth, appears cut and with punctures and heavy contact to scuffed spine sides. ripples and ridges appear on both exterior boards. loosened binding, aged and EX-LIBRIS, evident from ivory bookplate of Switzerland library tipped in onleft fep. the front hinge is concealing loosened joints. and it shows where layered endsheet lining has suffered from extension demanded for normal reading and handling. appears partially cracked. conditon noted as damaged. rest of the medium brown endsheet lining has indiscernible ink writing on fep. scuffed and abraded marks from affixed items roughly removed, some writing in pencil. a yellowish tint frames the text interior edges lightly. no writing, but mild discoloration where random foxing occurs. heavy foxing for pages before title page, where in upper right corner, an internal code in ink. upper edges is gilded. fore-edge and bottom edge a dingy beige from exposure. there is some translucence to the text interior pages, considering age and random spots, all textblock pages included, 480 pp., followed by 8 pages of addenda.
