Front board fully covered in pictorial label printed in blue, dark green, and orange. Rubbing to edges and corners of boards. Heavy wear and fraying to spine. Tearing, scuffing, and staining to label on front board. Fading and staining to cloth. Spine reads "The Wizard of Oz" and omits "New" as usual. Textblock beginning to separate from binding at gutters between front and rear endpapers and pastedowns. Previous owner's signature on front free endpaper. Tearing to pages 15, 19, 193, and plate at page 22. Plates at pages 22 and 111 loose but present. Age toning throughout. This is a later copy of the Fourth edition, having an integral title page printed in black and only eight color plates. Shelved in Case 14. More
