Books have shelfwear all around, rubbing to leather, bindings strong for what they are, hinges have varying stages of cracking but binding strength appears to be unaffected, varying degrees of agetoning and sun exposure, bumping to corners, volume six has 1x0.3" portion where the decorative paper on the front cover is missing; Textblocks darkened from age, clean, text still legible, occasional foxing, contains numerous illustrations and diagrams.
