Octavo, 14 volumes; G; Panels have half-bound vellum leather spine and fore corners with marbled boards which have moderate scratches and some rubbing on the exteriors, and rubbing wear along edges, mostly tail edges, spines and fore corners have lightly soiled & stained appearance, probably due to age and handling, taping along joints and spine of vols. 2, 7, and 8, vol. 2 also has small cracking closed tear at front head fore edge, vol. 11 has cracking at front joint toward head head and tail edges with small circular open tear toward tail edge at front joint, but still attached, vol. 12 has 2 inch slight crack on front panel toward head edge, however all panels are strong and sturdy; Text blocks show some wear with moderate foxing on first and last few pages, vol. 3 has ink writings on ffep and verso of ffep, vol. 6 has cracking along binding between pp 18-19, vol.8 has taping along binding between rear end paper and pastedown, as well as cracking between pp 390-391 at binding exposing spine and moisture staining at tail edge toward fore edge, and vol. 14 has small tear at fore edge of ffep as well as cracking along binding at pp 146-147 and 592-593 exposing spine, but all pages are still bound, all volumes have previous owner's book plate on front pastedowns, and they have very light foxing on few text pages; as is. pp 8309.
