London: Forster Groom & Co. LTD., 1923. First Edition. Octavo, viii-288 pages. Hard cover red and black boards with no dust jacket. Very good. There is a small sticker from previous bookseller as well as an inscription in ink by former owner on the inside of front board. Binding is tight. Strong age toning/yellowing to pages, but the text is clean and unmarked. Foxing to the inside of boards and on endpapers. Includes maps at rear of book. Boards show light shelf wear and rubbing, but the spine is strongly faded and sunned; still good and wrapped in a protective transparent sleeve for added protection. Shelve in Case # 9.
