Small Octavo; G+/no-DJ; Maroon spine with gold text; Ex Libris; Boards strong, front cover clean with general edgewear rubbing and fraying, back cover generally clean with edges that are also rubbed and frayed, the spine is age-faded with significant fraying on the head edge and a .25" x .5" x .5" semi-open tear at the tail that exposes the spine, and when open the leather fractionally separates from the spine itself; A bookplate from a previous owner is affixed to the inside front cover, textblock darkened by age, text marked up in pencil by previous owner, and signatures separating throughout the textblock; pp 410.
1890. First Edition. Folded letter with envelope, dated June 9th, 1890 from Oliver Wendell Holmes to Miss Katherine Miller in VG- condition; The letter was dictated but the signature is in Holmes' hand. The letter details the lives of mutual friends. There is one small mark on the front and a tipped in small article about Holmes, which has caused some minor glue staining, otherwise in good shape with clear signature. Shelved Case 0. CZ folder.

Small Octavo; G+/no-DJ; Maroon spine with gold text; Ex Libris; Boards strong, front cover clean with general edgewear rubbing and fraying as well as some small patches of speckling, back cover is generally clean with some dark spotting, the edges are also rubbed and frayed, the spine is age-faded, the head edge has an extra .25" leather that is folded over the headband, the boards of the tail of the spine are exposed by .12", and when open the leather fractionally separates from the spine itself; A bookplate from a previous owner is affixed to the inside front cover, textblock darkened and stained by age, and signatures separating throughout the textblock; pp 373.
