Circa 1880. Leather-bound photo album, approximately 6 1/2" by 5 1/2", with embossed ornamentation, gilt text and metal clasps. All edges gilt. Light rubbing and abrasions to leather. Faint soiling to silk moiré end pages. Album pages are gilt-decorated thick card stock. Contains thirty-six photographs of ladies and a few gentlemen, each approximately 2 1/2" by 3 1/2". Foxing to pages. Some cardboard mounts are torn. Photos predominately taken by F.C. Weston in Bangor, ME. Subjects unidentified. CONSIGNMENT. shelved case 1.
