VOL I : includes pencilling and ink around the tipped in bookplate of previous owner, major scuffs in brown and remainder of pasted down dark paper. less foxing one within the text of the volume itself. light age-toning toasts the edges of each sheet. though hinges intact, binding material is visible at a few cracks. delicate and perused, heavily tanned upper and tail edge, deckled fore-edge. 428 pp. VOL II: fep has tipped in bookplate, heavily brown foxed initial front and rear pages, age-toning has dryly browned the edges of the sheets. ability to peruse leaf-by-leaf, dry environmental exposure has much darkened the head and tail, rough-cut fore-edge. 427 pp. note poor condition as mainly damaged from severe foxing. the remainder is intact, no text or pages lost, each volume has separate pagination.
