Binding is tight, but the spine is breaking between pages 80 and 81. There is bookplate from previous owner on the inside of front board. There is also a small price sticker from previous seller on the bottom corner of front end paper. Red ink inscription on the top of aforementioned page, Strong age yellowing to pages, but the text is clean and unmarked. Foxing throughout the book, but it's particularly strong on the Title Page and end papers. Light staining to text block. Strong age wear and shelf wear to boards; fading and rubbing, light soiling, and scuffing around the edges and the edges of the spine. SHELVED ROCKVILLE AISLE 7.

Most copies of this title lack the jacket. In this case the jacket has protected the underlying matching pictorial/printed front cover and spine quite well, which is in very good condition.
