Ex-library with associated stamps and markings, including subtle abrasion to front and rear pastedowns as from removal of pocket or stickers. Gently cocked, lightly soiled boards rubbed and fraying at corners and spine ends. Multiple small chips to crinkled and abraded corresponding areas of age-toned jacket, now protected in clear mylar overlay; significant shallow creases across surfaces. Wear along stress lines; rear book flap has separated completely from jacket rear, but is present and protected in Brodart. Dampstain has darkened jacket rear. Text block near spine head continues dampstain with no discernible bleed-through to interior of book beyond subtle browning to gutter of hinges at rear endpapers, which are starting, and at next-to-last pages. Similarly, faint dampstain near bottom of deckled text block fore-edge seeps only to ffep, half-title page and list of author's previous works; front hinges also starting. Mild foxing to a few interior pages; volume otherwise clean and tight throughout. Case #8.
