Fair. 4to in brown leather boards, title on spine in gilt (as "HISTOIRE DU PEOPLE"), spine has 5 raised bands. Wear to boards; edges rubbed, cracking to leather along hinges, significant bumping to top fore corner, top of spine chipped and beginning to split at rear fold, light general wear otherwise to boards. Original boards, but binding repaired with new marbled endpages. Text in French. Fold-out chart tipped in after chronology and before preface. Edges of textblock agetoned, light scattered foxing to pages. B&w illustrated page opposite title page. Full title is as follows: "HISTOIRE DU PEUPLE DE DIEU, DEPUIS SON ORIGINE JUSQU'A A LA NAISSANCE DU MESSIE, TIREE DES SEULS LIVRES SAINTS, OU LE TEXTE SACRE DES LIVRES DE L'ANCIEN TESTAMENT, REDUIT EN UN CORPS D'HISTOIRE."
