Wear to boards; edges rubbed, cracking to leather along hinges, significant bumping to top fore corner, top of spine chipped and beginning to split at rear fold, light general wear otherwise to boards. Original boards, but binding repaired with new marbled endpages. Text in French. Fold-out chart tipped in after chronology and before preface. Edges of textblock agetoned, light scattered foxing to pages. B&w illustrated page opposite title page.
